Mangrove Jack’s describe the flavour profile for their New Zealand Brewers Series American Pale Ale as well-balanced malt charateristics.
We added in a premium craft yeast and a selection of dry hops, combined them with some temperature control and create a recipe we’ve now called the (HBR Recipe#1) NZ American Pale Ale (after the base kit).
Contrasting the typical APA style of the beer the NZ APA recipe will produce a lighter bodied finish offer well-balanced malt characteristics.
The understated aromas have an earthy, herbal profile with hints of pine and strong back notes of citrus which set the scene for the hop forward flavour.
