Ideal for absolute beginners. I do brew my own alcohol at home as a hobby. Turbo 48 is a fast acting highly durable yeast which begins brewing quickly and can yield up to 20% alcohol in just 5 to 7 days. You can buy a pack of Alcotec brand Turbo 48 yeast on eBay for around £3 including postage and pick up bags of sugar in places like Savers or Home Bargains for around 50p. I find doing this pretty inexpensive, easy and a lot of fun.
