Kettle souring is a popular technique for making sour beers quickly and with less concern for contamination in your homebrewery, and gose is one of the first styles we find people brew to learn the process. Our coworker William makes a LOT of gose homebrew, so we thought it would be fun for him to put his kettle sour skills to work using the new Grainfather G40 to brew a 10-gallon split batch of two very different variants of our Duck Duck Gose homebrew recipe kit. With the G40’s built-in temperature control and timer, it seemed like a great tool to use for the job. In this video, William shared what he learned during the process and samples the two beers he fermented. #kettlesour #homebrewing #grainfather
