DRAINING SYSTEM HACK for Bottles, Fermenters, Buckets & More
Please keep in mind, I’ve had this setup for years. The faux-milk crates were purchased from Big Lots, which no longer carries them. Lowe’s carries one at double the price and I can’t guarantee it’s the same thing.

At Big Lots I loaded a crate into my cart upside-down, went to the soda-pop isle and stood there proudly stuffing FULL 12 oz glass Frostie Root Beers and a variety of CRUSH flavors into the crate to test it! The dishpan fits perfectly inside the crate. It came from Big Lots as well and…you guessed it, they no longer carry it.

WARNING: This system is not perfect. It holds 24 – 12 oz. longneck bottles nicely but moving them around is dangerous. Thankfully I haven’t had any major issues. NOT recommended for “Heritage” type bottles (Sierra Nevada and Lagunitas come in Heritage bottles).
