It’s winter in Norway, but so little snow. Then its time to prepare for next year and brew up a 9% Doppelbock. This recipe is the legendary Ringnes Julebokk lager beer homebrew kit. According to the brewery, they to a no sparge and so will I. Actually I had to top up with some water. I used the alternative OG formula, which I think is the key to success with the recipe kit.
