Recipe for 5 gallons, your efficiency may vary:
“SMASH 22”
4.6% ABV 33 IBU
12 lb Rahr 2-row (100%)
Single Infusion Mash at 152 F (65 C) for 22 min
Water (ppm): Ca: 104, Mg: 10, Na: 0, SO4: 248, Cl: 48, HCO3: 0
Add 10g Gypsum, 5g Epsom, and 3g CaCl to 8 gal (30 L) of distilled water.
Adjust mash pH to 5.2-5.5 with lactic acid if needed.
22 minute boil
22 min – 1.5 oz (42g) Amarillo (10.1% AA)
10 min – 1 oz (28g) Amarillo
0 min – 0.5 oz (14g) Amarillo
OG: 1.043
Yeast: Omega OYL-091 Hornindal Kveik
Ferment at room temperature or higher for 7-10 days
FG: 1.008
