All Grain Homebrewing Basics: Brew Day

Beginner
In this video, we’ll give you a high level overview of what you will need to do for an all grain brew day. This video will cover from crushing malt to transferring wort to the fermenter.

If you are taking the PH of the wort, we usually take a sample from 20 minutes into the mash. Make sure you take the gravity of the beer before you pitch your yeast, this will allow you to determine your actual ABV once fermentation is complete.

The all-grain brewing method shown in this video is a single-step infusion mash and a continuous sparge.
