(UPDATE: GrainFather has added a Resume (actually appears to work now after heavy testing as it use to at least try but use to fail most of the time), also they’ve added a “Skip” feature to step through some stages if you do have to start over completely although I wish it had the ability to say just 10 minutes into a 20 minute mash but I guess you could do part and then his skip.)
Nothing is perfect but if you had to design the perfect all in one brewing system for all grain brewing based on what you currently know, how would you design it? Please let me know in the comments.
Please let me know what features you would add or take away from your perfect system. I used 4 systems as comparisons to help people understand the features I am discussing by giving them examples of these features and how they exist today.
I truly believe all of these systems have a lot of great features but would love to see the majority of them in one system. If there are patents blocking one company from using a certain feature then maybe that feature needs to be reworked and either done differently or improved upon. There is always more than one way to do just about anything to some degree of course.
