While brewing an all grain batch of IPA I developed with the Beer Smith app on my iPhone, I documented the basic steps that pertain to nearly every batch of all grain brewing. The entire process takes around 5 hours from sanitation to clean up. This video did not include the sanitation (pre-brew) or clean up (post-brew), but it does include all the general steps one would generally go through to make beer this way. Every recipe is different, so this may not be perfectly aligned with what you need to do…but it will be close.
Generally speaking, fermentation takes 2-4 weeks, depending on the style. This particular batch had a primary fermentation of 2 weeks, secondary of 1 week and then it was kegged and ready to drink a few days later.
Good luck! If you have questions, ask away!
